Offline != Online ?

Im sure, nearly every living breathing youngster, nah maybe 98% of all Bruneian youngsters can be deemed as MSN-addicts. No meh? Then confirm is the Double "F" addicts, u know what Im talking about. Facebook or Friendster. Ok nevermind that.

OK, we spend so much time online until we develop a persona called the "online personality". For some, it might be the same as your offline attitude, maybe not.

From my own personal view, people who are genuinely confident of themselves acquire the "offline att. = online att.", whereas the others who not sufficiently confident of themselves! As simple as that.

When you're confident, you portray yourself as yourself! No matter where, with or w/o others' presences and of course confident ppl don't careless about the judgements of others. True right?

Offline = Online - When it is the same
Offline!=Online - When it is not

"Eh Bern, when a person is confident, he can also portray himself as some other person leh! He is confident liao mah!"

True true, but who'd wanna do that? Its only when:

a) you're insecure that you'd wanna do that (which means you aint confident lah)

b) you wanna try to "test test" a different personality for fun (which is no harm, but do it on a permanent basis, u're definitely made up of "unconfident" material)... or

c) you wanna change urself , you think you wanna have a greater personality! (oi, do it offline if ur confident)

d) you're shy(When you're usually not) coz ur nerves attack u when u're in his/her's offline presence (aww..that's love. *shudders* {Sorry for that LOL} )

Its normal. I feel the most confident(Note:not over-confident or arrogant) man/lady on the planet) will face that prob. too. Maybe its not as nerve-wrecking to type rather than talk f-2-f in the initial stages. Getting to know more of your crush online. Shudn't be a problem, I guess. But make sure that ain't STALKING!!)

e) you think your crush/boss likes/admires that "sort" of attitude which u don't have. So you try hard to win his/her heart by employing that fake "sort" of you online. (You liar b*tch!)

f) "dunno leh.. I feel like Im confident but I tend to be different off and on oh.." (Yo dude, you might have multiple personality disorder ah! Go c the doc! LOL)

Remember this?

I dunno what you ppl think of this but How many of you dare to say with honesty "Im the same person offline as well as online!"? Hahahaha

"Say till so much, so u confirm Offline=Online? meh?"

I've to admit, Im one of "Offline!=Online" person. Yep, Im not a very confident person. *points to shyness... Anyways, I believe Ive improved a lot lah!

Moving on....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Personality-wise you'd only have those 2 options. What about attitudes? Different story lah. Have a look at the different attitudes of ppl who Ive come across throughout my MSN life span:

1. "Too much to talk ah" group

Whoa.. These ones are the ones to be avoided at all costs. They'll be the first one to beep you the second you pop up online. Not once ah.. It occurs at a rate of 4 out of 5 times everytime you go online! Walao! Folks, the 'Block' button was invented for a reason. Use it! LOL

2. "Too cool" group

Ahh.. I personally call this the "kek dao" group! You get the 4:1 ratio of lines replied. '4' is from me, '1' is from em. What the heck! Not only that, their one-reply reply might even be only one letter-word!,i.e. "k".

I'd prefer "Oh ok, see ya later aight! =)". Not in the mood ah? This one lor.. "Ohh ok, aish Im not in the mood to chat at the moment. Sorry yah.. See you"

Not only that, some times their "k" reply only applies to the last 2 lines from you. They so cool/busy till they missed out reading ur first 2 lines ah! Walao... Then haf to bug em again, "Eh, bla bla bla". Reply from em "Bah". @#*@@#*@*#!!!!!!

LOL.. chatting with this bunch tends to give me the feeling that Im one from the "Too much to talk" group. Kek dao!

Too busy meh? Go offline lar.. Else put on the "Busy" status lar. Eh no.. "Busy" status is way overused these days.. Eh, you can try "Ahh sorry, Im busy at the moment, I'll get to you in a while" *It takes only a few seconds to enter that line lah, mate.

Note: I feel this especially apply to guys. Maybe they think Im gay? NOOO!!

3. "Hahaha" group

Mostly after every line, a "hahaha" or other alternative forms of laugh comes up.. LOL.. Until you lose track of their real feelings. They sad? Eh not, maybe happy?

4. Emoticon-freaks group
LOL.. They fill ur chat window with so much emoticons! What's wrong with that? It gets irritating after a while plus I've encountered countless instances where I don't know what the emoticon is trying to say!

5. Emo group

Ahh.. How to spot? Their quotes loh.. Some makes me shudder LOL.. Their quotes tend to project a certain strong emotion.. Always same emotion summore. Today "Ill be waiting for you till my last very last heartbeat" .. Tomorrow "Ill chase till you open your heart to me"... Tomorrrow similar too.. All the tomorrows same too.. ahahaha Gali lah! .. Dun u get happy?

6. "Oi look at me" group

LOL.. Their quotes states what they are doing. Normal mah.. BUT they change it so damn often until you can't help but say "Walao.. vain la this person! Go open up a damn blog la.. you can blab more abt ur details in it, then put ur blog link address there"

7. "Follo Law" group

Of course, best group! When they're status is "busy", it means they seriously busy. Initiate a chat, a reply returns on time if their status is "online" They come up with the decent amount of replies needed. They have a proper sense of humour by using a safe amt of "haha"s and emoticons. Their quotes don't make u go "uggh".. Hahaha.. good good! Long live em!

Did I miss out on any groups mah?

"Walao u suck Bern! MSN also you find so much problems!"

LOL.. Its all personal opinion ok? No significant person has assured that the above said is right or wrong.. Just an exercise for my brain - a pure opinion piece LOL! No hard feelings aight!

Have a great day ppl! =)
