a "b" not "c"!

Now, I've been trying to find inspiration to even log on blogger.com as of late. Now this definitely got me doing it.

Its a freaking problem! *pfft!

[Be sure to click on those images else this post ain't making sense!]

Wahlao Bern, my 10 yr old bro can solve this in a few minutes!

*

Not that lar.. Its about the formatting..
We have all encountered this from time to time I believe.

*

My supposedly next move -- add a 'b)'
Seems smooth..

*

Wait lar! Don't decide yet. What happens when you press Spacebar?

Whoa.. magical.. Cool for the kids, but uncool when you wanna get things done mate!

****

The solution that sometimes works(bottom): <-- Notice: SOMETIMES!

Highlight that area - Turn off Automatic Numbering

*

The end-product:Ahh.. my 'b)' is back..

Weirdly I did try this solution just now, but it didn't worked!
It just happened to work when I purposedly wanted to screenshot it! HAHAHAHA

Anyways, why 'c' instead of 'b' I wonder?

Maybe there is their algorithm detects a 'b' in the sentence already leh?

Here's the sentence:
Where b????!!!!

Warning: The following has gotta be lame:

"Got ah got!!! Its algebra mah.. Spell algebra!"

A-L-G-E-B

"Stop stop!!"

Oh ya hor.. got B oh! LOL

Sorry about that. I don't know whether this freaking problem applies to MS Office 07 only? I guess it does apply to those from the Word family eh.. I remember encountering this sort of problem before.

"Eh then why again ah , Bern?"

Beh cai lah.. (Dunno)

"But then, that should be your specialty man.. It should be like CK and his mic, Eve and her rojak, Shy and her batik, Ing with her longan taufu, Mok with her Mok dessert and Kiat with his bbq lamb leh!" (Opps)

Weirdly, we do not learn those in our classes. Yeah you've heard it. I don't know, but I guess the computer field is super freaking wide, we cannot be taught every damn thing under our 4 year CS course. No courses on what-to-do-when-XP-hang-ah or on mastering any of the widely used applications.

I've encountered cases where people come up to me asking me how to solve problems in some of those Microsoft applications, with their laobu (mommys) at the back saying "Eh go find Ah Bern loh.. He studies computer one leh"

Those aunties somehow think that the computer field is freaking small eh.. Can become expert in a 4 yr course ah? Hahaha..

Thus feeling the added pressure (certainly not peer pressure.. Call it aunty-pressure haha), I continue solving their problem. Of course, unlike any normal problem, there is an added determination to solving this problem coz u should be the expert right??

Eh No no!

What if you can't solve the problem?

To educated person:
I'd go "Ahh, never encountered this problem before. I can't help it. I tell you what. Open your ears widely, go grab a pen n a piece of paper. Ready? w-w-w.g-o-o-g-l-e-.-c-o-m" hahaha

To your 7-yr old cousin, whose ah ma thinks studying Computer means you're the God of Computer Problems:

Cham liao..

Approach 1:Tell em I cant solve, then most likely they might think the computer is rosak! ahahaha..

betang betang..

Approach 2: This aunty might go around telling people "Eh that Ah Bern beh kiang one.. gong gong one.. Study computer till uni liao also dunno how to solve computer problem.. " hahaha..

There you go.. Its not only our uni' syllabus (Our uni's do touch on those applications in the 1st year thou'.. but it's quite brief), where ever you go.. Same case. No such courses included in the programme at all. That gives you the reason why Im complaining bout the freaking problem above.

That is why this post existed in the first place!

Anyways, Good day ppl, Aku belum makan ni.. Its lunchtime!
